                                3.3. Staff training modules
Describe in detail all necessary training modules, both the content and format. Identify learning outcomes for each module.
The College operates a center for quality teaching. The mission of the Center is to introduce modern teaching methods and to provide the faculty of the College with essential tools to improve their teaching. The Center offers teaching workshops in a variety of subjects, including classroom management, active teaching,
examination writing and using technology to enhance students’ learning. The center also works in cooperation with the Heads of Departments in order to provide services based on the specific needs of individual departments. With respect to internationalization, the Center intends to offer the following workshops and activities to prepare the faculty to teach international students:
• Cultural competency workshops - Workshops aimed at acquainting faculty with various cultures and providing them with tools to teach in an international, multicultural environment
• Cross-cultural workshops targeting current minority students
English language training – Various activities aimed at training faculty who are used to teaching in Hebrew to incorporate English into courses. These activities will include:
• Public speaking and presentation in English
• Writing in English for conference/seminar presentations
• Learning from the experience of other academic institutions who offer international programs: Working closely with the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and with the IDC Herzliya. This includes getting guidance from faculty who teach in international programs. sending relevant HAC faculty to observe their classes; and, upon necessity, providing them with one-to-one guidance sessions with relevant counterparts.
