Pilot planning: what will be the focus of the pilot? Who are the participants? students/ staff/ both? Cooperation with external stakeholders? During the second semester of 2017, a group comprising eleven second year students was chosen to implement the CLEVER strategy in a pilot program. The project titled "Cultural Landscape" took place in collaboration with the Israel Nature & Parks Authority, with the
challenge of promoting social and economic change through creative communication.
Two groups of five students each worked under the supervision of three internal mentors and in coordination with the staff of the Authority, to produce two short documentary films on topics related to ecology, sustainability, social structure and politics. The two films are now serve the client (the Authority) as a tool in their efforts for policy change and funding.
