The program of Public Diplomacy Program within the Department of Politics and Communication offers students contacts with high echelon diplomats and researchers that provide real world experiences; opportunities to work on high-level projects; and study tours abroad. Over the past year, this included a visit to Poland to meet with members of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, non- governmental organizations (NGOs), media channels, members of Parliament, and the Jewish community. Likewise, a trip to Berlin for third year students and one to Lithuania for second year students.
This year, a joint group of students and teachers from the Department of Politics and Communication and Photographic Communications embarked of a fact-finding mission to Lesbos in Greece, to learn about the plight of the refugees fleeing from Syria and arriving in their thousands onto the shores of Greece.
