2.2.4 Description of format How will the programme be designed? Is it stand-alone course or will creative leadership subject be integrated into existing courses? Will the programme use project-based approach? The Hadassah Academic College provides a diverse range of studies within the scope of its two schools: The Interdisciplinary School for Sciences, Health and Society, and the Interdisciplinary School for Society & Community. As outlined above, the Hadassah Academic College was actively involved in the Tempus sponsored LLAF programme 2014-17. Four departments engaged in the project, each taking a different approach to the implementation of the LLAF principles: • The Optometry Department Developed its programme along the pillar of “Learning to Be”. In particular it followed the principle of the VaKE (Values and Knowledge Education), a constructivist didactic tool that permits to combine moral education and knowledge acquisition, based on dilemmas, specifically those related to the field of Optometry. The Computer Science Department The computer science department ran a pilot in a second- year calculus course, using the Team Based Learning method, which is a form of flipped classroom model.
